The Origin Story
Blame the
Yankees.
October 24th, 1996. Game 5 of the World Series — Braves vs. Yankees. Andy Pettitte pitched 8 shutout innings, and Ricky’s mom threw open the front door and shouted to the entire neighborhood. He had never seen anyone so excited. Right then and there, he knew: he wanted to be Andy Pettitte.
Genetics had other plans...
Several years and unattained growth spurts later, in what was purely an existential panic move, he did the only thing he could think of — he became an actor.
The next time you enjoy one of his performances, you be sure to thank number 46.
The Plot Twist
Yes, there are
two of him.
Ricky has an identical twin — actor and singer/songwriter Ryan M. DeRosa. Twin roles, doppelgängers, body doubles, impossible single-take gags:
one phone call, two DeRosas.
- Twin & double casting without VFX budgets
- Built-in understudy
- Two actors who have rehearsed together since before birth

just his mom saying so.
